Within the next few years, Cineplex will be launching ten to fifteen new Playdium locations across Canada. Along with this, there is an immense need for an exciting new identity. The creative strategy is to provide a contemporary solution both appropriate and attractive to our target market of children and teens, while maintaining integrity and brand recognition. In doing so, we ensure to attract new audiences and to keep current customers loyal and happy. Brand integrity is achieved by transferring familiar colours and shapes from the 1996 logo and applying it to the new logo. Lively colours and patterns are used across all branding collateral to encompass a vibrant, energetic mood.
