Joanna Chaeyoung Song


Joanna is a vibrant illustrator and designer who emphasizes the importance of visual clarity, identity, and desirability of design. Her works consist of a wide range of visual styles; from minimalistic functional design to painterly illustrations. Having worked in both theoretical design and illustrative art, she consolidates the meaning and purpose of design with the beauty and universality of art. The interdisciplinary nature of her career experience allows her to experience and understand the diverse values of users and creators. Joanna continuously strives to create accessible human-centered art and design in order to form a strong empathic bond between the product, creators, and users. Her goal in her artistic career is to bridge the gap between art and design, discovering the ways to make timelessly valuable visuals.
